What I Bring to the Table

I don’t just coach from textbooks — I coach from lived experience, professional training, and years of walking my own path toward health and a balanced lifestyle.
My journey started in 2005, when a mix of unexplained symptoms — from fatigue and brain fog to migraines and muscle pain — forced me to dig deeper than traditional medicine could take me. The turning point came when a nutrition-based approach transformed my health in a matter of weeks. That experience sparked a question that’s been driving me ever since: How can lifestyle choices shape our physical and emotional well-being so profoundly?
That question led me to formal training:
Life Coaching Certification – CVA, Antwerp (2013)
Whole-Foods, Plant-Based Nutrition – T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies (2016)
Integrative Nutrition Health Coach – Institute for Integrative Nutrition (2018)

Along the way, I learned that the root of my autoimmune condition, Hashimoto’s disease, very likely wasn’t just physical, but also linked to the narcissistic abuse I experienced in my childhood. That insight deepened my focus on recovery from toxic relationships and the long-term impact of emotional abuse.
Before becoming a coach, I worked with people from all walks of life — from teaching language skills to asylum seekers, to holding supportive management roles alongside CEOs. These experiences taught me to navigate different perspectives, cultures, and communication styles, and gave me a deep respect for the many ways people approach challenges and change.
I also studied photography, a practice that taught me to see from multiple perspectives, notice the details others might miss, and appreciate the bigger picture. These skills now shape my coaching: I help clients step back when needed, zoom in on what matters, and explore their lives from angles they may never have considered.
Today, I bring to my work:
A blend of science-based knowledge and practical tools
First-hand understanding of managing chronic illness and navigating menopause
Coaching approaches tailored for people rebuilding after toxic experiences
A focus on joyful, sustainable self-care as the foundation for lasting change
The ability to help you reframe your story and see possibilities from new perspectives
Cross-cultural communication skills and the capacity to work with a wide range of personalities and backgrounds
Whether you’re recovering your health, reclaiming your boundaries, or simply wanting a life that feels right for you, I bring not just the “how” — but the empathy, clarity, and lived perspective to help you get there.
